Our Staff

The office staff of Dr. Richard Barsan is well-trained and highly motivated to provide our patients with the utmost professional care. The dental assistant team is trained and licensed to assist in performing oral surgery. The front office personnel are experienced with billing and insurance benefits, and able to assist patients with any questions pertaining to their coverage. Our staff will work as a team to make your visit with us as pleasant and convenient as possible.

Roxanne, known in the office as “Roxy”, has been with the practice since 1998. She is the front office manager and oversees all aspects of the front desk which include insurance processing, billing, and financial arrangements. She is a full time student at the University of Phoenix, where she is obtaining a Human Services degree. In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, reading, tutoring kids, and scrap booking. She is also a self-proclaimed Starbucks addict and a Harry Potter fan.

Magda, is the back office manager for the practice. She has been with the practice since 2005. She is licensed oral surgery assistant, has her CPR, first aid certification and x-ray license. All of her time outside off work is dedicated to her husband and toddler son. .

Bianca, is a licensed oral surgical assistant, who has been in the practice since 2008. She studied dentistry in Mexico and graduated in 2007. She also has her x-ray license and is certified in CPR and first aid. She loves being able to help people. In her spare time she likes to watch TV and go out with friends..

Iliana, is a licensed oral surgical assistant, who has been in the practice since 2008. She is formally from Los Angeles who acquired her training as a surgical technologist by attending V.E.I. . She is certified in CPR and first aid as well as having her x-ray license. Outside of work she visits her family in Los Angeles and enjoys reading.

Angie, is the newest member to our staff as our scheduling coordinator for the practice. She recently moved to the Imperial Valley from the Central Coast where she worked in the orthodontic field for nine years. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two poodles, cooking, baking and traveling.
